23.12.2011 – Fullscreen Widget within the playbar.
Overview
Captivate does not support a fullscreen button out of the box. Therefore I created a fullscreen widget, which allows adding this action to a button on the slides.
But now with the new widget you can have this functionality within the playbar, in the same way big internet-video portals do it.
And it works with question slides too.
How it works
To allow creators of elearnings and other learning material to use the standard playbars the widget offers to use „unused“ buttons in the playbar. These unused buttons can be selected and function as fullscreen buttons with a special button symbol.
In a first step the user adds the widget on a masterslide and chooses which button to substitude. Usually this might be the CC button or the Exit button, but you can choose from 8 possible buttons.
In a second step you have to add a line of code to the html file.
Make sure you checked the unused button, so that it is displayed (necessary to be substituted).
Now you can see the speial fullscreen button instead of the button you do not use.
Here is a small video
Additional Demo:
This demo shows Questionslides, Text Entry Boxes and Scaling of the Zoom Box.
(In Fullscreen Mode Flash does not allow keyboard access.)
